Capricorns are proud, practical, hard-working, and mostly composed. They are obsessed with status and climbing the ladder - both social and corporate.
They are extremely careful with every little thing, and try to do everything as perfectly as possible - and wish nobody to notice their flaws or mistakes. They have strong need for recognition in a worldly sense. Most Capricorns are witty, have an acute sense of humour, and can be bitingly sarcastic, too. People often view them as boring (all work, no play), dumb (claiming knowledge of everything) and ambitious (with a no-nonsense approach). However, behind the "perfect" composure and "never say die" attitude, is a sensitive, insecure and reserved Capricorn - with a dark side, that can shock everyone.

Angering Capricorn is easy, because this grumpy sign is almost always on the edge. Not many understand the meaning of "value for money" better than the Capricorns. Slighting some money out of them, or short-changing them will surely make them snap.
Embarrassing and pointing flaws of this proud, ambitious goat - especially in front of a higher up, would mean war.
Capricorn's methodical revenge
Generally, a Capricorn would hide their anger (and other emotions) behind piles of work. When pushed too far, they would launch a verbal attack - yelling and creating a scene. It is quite shocking to see the composed Capricorn in this state, as they do care who they are shouting at, or when, or where.
The analytical Capricorn is clear and focused, when it comes to making decisions. If they are hurt to a point that they cannot forgive, a methodical revenge is sure to follow. By the time they have decided to avenge someone or something, the Capricorn is surprisingly detached (emotionally), and transforms into a brutal force that leads to the final blow. The diligent Capricorn methodically plans a revenge to maximize pain or humiliation. They hardly ever forgive, and exact a revenge that is most merciless.
Once a Capricorn has decided to avenge, there is no turning back. No amount of consolation or apology works on this emotionally detached earth sign. Even after a vengeful act, their adversary is banished forever from their life - and act as if they never knew him/her.
On the other hand, the Capricorn is practical and obsessed with status. If you have unwittingly hurt a Capricorn, there is little you can do. Your only chance is a pricey gift and a straight talk: That you have erred, and what are you prepared to compensate for your error. There can be a negotiation for forgiveness, but the banishment mostly stays.

For Capricorn, solitude follows bad mood. They do not want to see or talk to anyone when they are unhappy, and it is best to let them alone. But leaving them alone, can make them feel unwanted, and worse. To make a Capricorn feel better, obtrude your presence - no flashy lights, no loud music, no intrusive questions - to provide them a quiet moment. If that doesn't bring them relief, make your presence productive by participating in the effort to solve their problem - in their logical, analytical way. Ask for their opinion to make them think, think, think - you just made a Capricorn's day.
